It’s called the Colorado for a reason. It’s colored –a muddy greenish-brown. We started a few miles up into Arches National Park and went rafting and inflatable ‘kayaking’ back down. It was more lazy river than rapid thrill-ride, there were a couple of class 5 rapids (if there is such a thing) that made us feel like we got our money’s worth but we took on a lot more water from the constant water fights than any ‘rapids’. We stopped for a good lunch about 20 minutes after shoving-off and near the end we jumped in and soaked up the scenery.
